Speaking in that revealing interview, the rapper intimated no one deserved to live under such appalling conditions in the prisons.
“Bolas!” he exclaimed, “we were 74 in a [cell] … like a normal single room with 74 people in there and you know, you don’t [get] to sleep on the bed. You have to sit on the floor”.
According to him, there are two ways of getting some rest, “We have the monkey sleeping, we have the rich people sleeping and with the monkey sleeping, it’s like you sleep on the floor with your, with your …. I don’t know. I wish we were on TV for me to demonstrate. Some people stand and sleep all night and they’ve done that for a couple of years and it's crazy,” he said with disappointment in his voice.
He challenged Bola Ray to “imagine 74 people in a single room. You just imagine that.”
Kwaw Kese is due back in court on February 5 when hearing on his case is expected to begin.
