Efya |
It was a memorable day at the National Theatre last Friday when Efya thrilled fans at the much-hyped musical event dubbed ‘Efya Girl Talk Concert’.
Although the night witnessed historic performances from a number of artistes, Efya who was the main act charmed the audience as usual with her creative stagecraft and singing skills when she performed for over an hour.Efya, indeed, proved many of her critics wrong by delivering countless songs to entertain her audience. It was not just about singing her written and composed songs on the night; the ‘Jorley’singer also took the crowd through a season of worship to usher on stage gospel musician, Joe Mettle.
Reggie Rockstone also did his rendition of ‘Best In Me’ with Efya, but this would have not gone well without Reggie’s wife on stage.
Counsellor Lutterrodt and Efia Schwarzenegger were amazing on the night as they took turn to give some pieces of advice and share some jokes with the audience.
The ‘Gingam Queen’ climaxed the concert with her performance with Sarkodie. Both artistes really jelled on stage as they did ‘Jorley’.
Other music acts at the concert were Mzvee, Its Tiffany, Lady J and Adomaa.
Efya’s mother, Nana Adwoa Awindor, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie and other celebrities like Martha Nkrumah, Bella Mundi, Nana Ama Mcbrown and Juliet Ibrahim were present at the event.
