Kobi Rana Criticized Over Sex Tape

Writer and director, Kobi Rana, is receiving mix reactions over his decision to title his upcoming movie, The Sex Tape.

A recent Hollywood film starring Cameron Diaz among others, which allegedly failed to pull large numbers into USA cinemas, has a similar title.

On Saturday, Kobi who is known for writing and directing movies like Kiss Me If You Can, took to social media, facebook.com, to announce his new movie.

But not everyone was enthused about the announcement of the movie on the social platform.

“Tweaa (chuckled), copy copy…Hollywood just released Sex Tape, Master you trying but do something different,” one Christian Comedy criticized Kobi.

But the ‘Crazy’ director, who is also a musician, defended the movie saying; “Do you know how many songs have the word love in them? Is that copy copy too? Come back when you have something to say.”

“…It’s obvious all those village people didn’t know the meaning of ‘Sex Tape’ until the Kumasi kids did that video. So allow them to show their Nkuurasesem,” he added.
