Joey B Says He Is still With Black Avenue Music (BAM)
VGMA 2014 New Artist of the Year, Joey B, has rebutted reports concerning his alleged split from his record label, Black Avenue Music saying he is still with the label.
The ‘Tonga’ hitmaker in a recent report was alleged to have parted ways with the record label which is owned by DBlack due to the fact that he had been spotte don several occasions hanging out without DBlack or any of the members of the group.
The site cited instances writing, In recent times, Joey B has been seen alone and sometimes with a few friends out of the circle of Black Avenue Music at some events including EL's B.A.R concert and also at VVIP's SallaFest show which marked the end of the Islamic fasting and praying season, Ramadan.
Meanwhile, D-Black together with his team has been moving around without his signed artiste, Joey B, that is quite surprising as the two had always been seen together at almost all events. These instances have raised eyebrows as to whether the 'Tonga' hitmaker is still with the record label or not.
However, in an exclusive interview with the Buzz on Gh One TV, the Ghanaian rapper debunked the reports saying that yes he did not get to hang out with DBlack at the Sallahfest because he had a performance in Fadama earlier that day which delayed his arrival at the Sallahfest, and by the time he arrived, DBlack was already on his way out.
He expressed disgust at the media house’s story and confirmed that he was still deeply rooted in the BAM family.
