“We signed the contract to perform at the event and we are happy we are taking Ghana to places,” Wanlov told NEWS-ONE.
According to the barefooted musician, he and Mɛnsa were prepared to sing, using their indigenous style to sell Ghana at the event.
Tribe One Dinokeng Festivial is organized by ROCKSTAR4000 in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment Africa and the City of Tshwane.
The three-day music festival will also feature some cream de la cream musicians like Efya, Wizkid and Fally Ipupa, among other African artistes, with Nicki Minaj being the headliner of the event.
The event will be the first of its kind on the African continent, and will be the continent’s debut on the global music-festival circuit, boasting a unique multi-day, multi-stage musical extravaganza yet to be experienced on African soil.
Wanlov and Mɛnsa are currently in South Africa to screen the sequel of their ‘Cos Of Moni’ movie at the Durban International Film Festival.
