Two of the most engaging and fastest-rising female acts on the music scene, MzVee and Noella Wiyaala, have been confirmed as part of the performers to be featured at the fourth Legends and Legacy (LAL) Ball slated for November 1 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Kojo Antwi is the star to be celebrated on the night and the other artistes on the bill will do their interpretations of some of his songs at the event organised by Imajin Advertising.
Other artistes due to perform at the LAL Ball include Wutah Afriyie, Edem, Efya, Nacy, Akwaboah, and Kaaki. They are all known for their distinctive approaches and command reasonable amounts of following.
“Our plan is to blend the upcoming but hardworking names with some of the fairly more established performers for a balanced offering on the night,” said Kojo Soboh, Events and Promotions Manager at Imajin Advertising.
Lawyer Nana Asante Bediatuo was earlier mentioned by the organisers as already pencilled in to perform. The main act for the night, Kojo Antwi is said to have already plunged into serious rehearsal for the show with a backing band comprising some of the most experienced instrumentalists in the business here.Sources close to him say the man is keen to make the show the best LAL Ball so far.
“That’s a tall order because the three previous ones featuring Daddy Lumba, Amakye Dede and AB Crentsil went extremely well. The man is, however, capable of rising to any occasion and we are all looking forward to a great show,” said Imajin Advertising’s Events and Promotions Manager.
